SALTEX 2023 Highlights Reel

In November 2023 we went on a comprehensive two-day content creation mission for GMA at Europe's largest free sports turf, amenities, and landscaping trade exhibition - SALTEX. It features over 400 brands presenting their products across three halls, spanning two days, all within a single location.

The Brief 📝

The key requirement was to capture how much of a busy and vibrant event SALTEX is, so we could create lots of great assets for 2023 - vox pops, highlights reels, quirky/unique events and displays for social content - and also create a bank of video and photography to future-proof marketing for the event. We were also asked to emphasise the diversity and variety of an industry that is working successfully to break down barriers for new entrants.

The Challenge 🤔

The sheer expanse of the event and the volume of material required posed a logistical challenge. With some requests happening almost concurrently, efficient time management was crucial. Natalia also took on the responsibility of delivering a selection of photographs for SALTEX’s social media the same day.

The Approach 🎥

Keeping a keen eye on the schedule and splitting up the tasks so we could cover more ground enabled us to fulfil the brief. Callum set about the more editorial content such as voxes and covering the new features for 2023, while Victor focused on the social content aspects, both collecting general event coverage as they went. Natalia, meanwhile, focused on getting stills of all the individual speakers at the event, and took a slightly more individual-focused approach to the general event coverage stills, to emphasise the enjoyment of the attendees.
